COMENIUS MEETING IN BURGOS

The first week of May, 12 teachers from Finland, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany were in Burgos to have the last Project Meeting in Burgos.

Taxi to Wetterkreuz and hike to Zuppalseehütte – Speikboden – Donnerstein – Zuppalseehütte (a few hours) in the company of a national park ranger.

We’ll spend the night on the hut.

Wednesday

7:30 Breakfast

8:30 Hike back down into the valley

Guided tour through “Virgener Feldflur-Weg der Sinne”

Visit to the church of Obermauern (a highlight from the gothic period).

Back to Matrei by bus.

Teacher meeting.

18:00 Dinner at the hotel

19:00 Official reception at “Kessler Stadl”

8.30 By bus to Matreier Tauernhaus.

A somewhat longer hike (guided tour) towards the glacier -

“Gletscherrundweg Innergschlöss”.

Back to the hotel by bus.

8:30 By bus to Mittersill/Salzburg; visit of the national park centre.

After lunch by bus back to Matrei - Prägraten.

Hike to Pebell-Alm and roundtour “Umbal-waterfalls”.
